Fear Isn't Real

So during the weekend, as I was terribly bored I went on twitter. I noticed that Christ Pratt (Star Lord, Andy Dwyer) had put a link out to this kids fund raiser. (As it has grown so has many other famous Stars) I was curious and followed the link. This 11 year-old boy had brain cancer. This project was to help fund the hospital bills and other programs. (If you want to read more click here) I instantly got to thinking how I could help this kid. I looked on this page and noticed that they were selling t-shirts that said "Fear Isn't Real" I got to thinking about how deep those three words actually were.

I felt that those 3 words have an amazing and strong meaning. I interpreted it as that fear is nothing but a creation of out imagination. It is never real, it is just built upon from our minds making it feel as if it is real. I decided to ask a few friends how they interpreted this:
Mikal - Fear is real.  It is a bunch of chemical reactions.  It is provable.  You can mentally weaken the effects but it is there.
Dani - Fear is a figment of imagination, it is created by the victim as a release for subconscious debates
Maddy - Fear isn't real because everyone has different fears. You just have certain experiences which makes you afraid of whatever you're afraid of. Everyone has different fears. Except for spiders, everyone should be afraid of spiders.
Parker - Fear actually is an acronym for False Evidence Appearing Real. Technically fear does not exist. It is an illusion of the brain signifying that something is wrong. It is also the more rapid heart beat that tells you something is going to happen that will not. It is just mind games.
Jeff - I believe that fear is real. It is a feeling that everyone gets a lot during their time on Earth.
Karsten - I feel that fear doesn't exist. It's just a fragment of my imagination. But I also know that I am afraid of things. I'm afraid of falling, drowning, dying, and spiders. And I know that I can get over these so called fears but I am terrified of these things. But I don't know I guess that fear isn't real, I mean I guess it's just a psychological thing.  You could probably trace the source of your fears.

I am planning on buying a shirt and a key chain that also says that Fear Isn't Real. You can buy most of this at Etsy. I feel like this is a very important cause, this program really hits home because I know of people with a form of cancer, and have sadly lost someone too. This is a cause that I feel very strongly about and I hope you do too.

I have one thing to say CANCER FLIPPING SUCKS it seems to be spreading around fast, around every corner it seems that someone has it and it really sucks. So many loved ones have been affected, to everyone who has sadly been affected my heart goes out to you and your family
