Teachers need to start believing in the students more allowing them to work with friends. It sucks working with people you do not know/like. You may have different styles to make a presentation. But with friends you can normally compromise something. I hate when teachers say and I quote "I am going to put you into groups." Every student cringes, all you can do is hope you are put with someone you can tolerate. I'd so much rather be with friends, procrastinate till last minute then get an B-A on a presentation. Not going to lie.

But when you somehow randomly get paired with your friend, the poor teacher sighs and continues on. While you're smiling like an idiot. This is like Halley's Comet which comes every 75ish years.
No matter how well I know my subject or how well memorized it is. I always get shaky and nervous. When I was little I had no fear I could give a presentation with ease. But now, not so much now, probably because I feel like everyone sees my nervousness.
I have a few words of advice for public speaking. Memorize, speak, repeat. Practice in front of family or friends. Cheesy right, seriously do it. Go to a happy place before hand then go up and present. Make sure you're calm and collected.
I had to give a group presentation in my biology class about the skeletal system, exciting.. I know right! ( ノ ゚ー゚)ノ (WHYYYY) But any who... I had notecards so incase I forgot what to say I had a backup. But still I was nervous and shaking, even though I had it memorized and had a backup. It sucks, public speaking sucks. I know I know, I'll always have to give presentations, but I'd rather not.
You think you had it bad ( -__-)
