Christmas!

One of my all-time favorite things during the winter seasons is to curl up in a blanket with some hot chocolate and a good book in front of a fireplace. But that has not been a dream this year. As of December 15th 2014 there has been about 1-5 inches of snow in my small mining town. Which means it has not gotten cold enough to curl up in a blanket like a burrito nor to light a fire for that matter. I wake up and think "Is it really the middle of December and there is no snow on the ground what so ever." We are suppose to get a lot of snow throughout this week. But that is what the forecast always says. AND It is almost never true. It is always too sunny or just partly cloudy. NO SNOW! Some of you may be rejoicing at that news, but I quite enjoy the snow, skiing, sledding, building a snowman??? Well it doesn't have to be a snowman it could quite as well be a snow...Dog? snow... Square? snow... Circle? You see where I am going with this.

Christmas Music... I like it in all BUT NOT IN NOVEMBER! I agree everyone gets excited but. I think it is way to early when they start it right after Thanksgiving. It is fair game after December 1st, not NOVEMBER 28th. Then when you walk into a store on November 1st. All christmas hell breaks loose. I hope you enjoy red and green and the strong scent of Cinnamon, since that is all you will see and smell for 2 months. Because at that point every store forgets about Thanksgiving and they are just shoving Christmas down your throat.
When Stores Shove Christmas Down Your Throat

But when your young apparently it is very normal to go to a mall and sit on an old mans lap and tell him what you want for Christmas. While at this mall with the man with the lazy eyes, you get to christmas shop for friends and family. I had a slight mental breakdown in the middle of Aeropostale because I had no idea what to get things for my friends. Buying things for friends is awesome, you either get a gift with an terrible inside joke or a good gift like gift cards or video games. Which is always a good fall back if you have no idea what to buy them, like I did.

But all in all Christmas is and by far my favorite holiday. I hope you all have a fun and safe holiday with your friends and family. Happy Holidays!
