The Indie Take Over

Soo.... To be honest I still have no idea what the hell I am going to write about. I always seem to think of an idea then add it to my about page. Soon that list is going to be long in a few months. My blog focuses on anything and everything.

I don't know why it took me so long to write this. I could not think of any songs to be honest. A lot of the songs I tried to write, I really couldn't think of how to review it. Which I still don't know how I'm going to with these to but i'll try. This year I''m slowly turning into an indie band nerd! Two of the most heard of indie bands are Walk The Moon & Bastille. Which everyone knows at least one song by Bastille, but no one really knows Walk The Moon. Anna Sun & Flaws, I don't know why but seem to speak to me in some way! I have also had a spark of genius, thanks to one of my friends, that I need to use a 'swaggy' or 'hip' rating system each time. (I apologize for using the term swag and promise to NEVER EVER use it again)

To be honest this is the only Walk The Moon song I have heard..... But I think its my favorite. (It's not like ones I haven't heard can be my favorite) Anna Sun referring to the Santa Anna sun, like on a beach. The line 'We rattle this town we rattle this scene' I think is saying to seize the moment and step out of your comfort-zone.

Bastille is another amazingly well known band, because of their song Pompeii. One of their newly released songs is Flaws. They talk about how 'Ones we've inherited, ones that we learned' That talks about how the person you love will love/find your flaws cute and accept them and not try to change them. Yet it seems all teenagers can relate to this song because they want to act like their perfect and hide their flaws. Yet there are some that really, Do not give a damn about who knows their flaws.

Between these two songs I give Walk the Moon, 7 New Plutos out of 10 new Plutos. (Viva La PLUTO) I give flaws 8 Dancing Skeletons out of 10 Dancing Skeletons. I highly suggest these two!
