The MKTO Fallout

The Fret On My Guitar
Lately I have been realizing how big of an effect music has on people. I walk into the school and I see people with headphones in, I see all the different 'cliques' with headphones in from the jocks to the nerds. At least two or three people in each group either has a earbud in their ear or hanging from their shirt. This past week I have been listening to a lot of music. From Fallout Boy to Maroon 5, my phone is filled with all types of genres. The first three songs I am going to review for you right here right now are, Centuries by Fallout Boy and American Dream by MKTO.

Starting with Centuries, I believe that everyone deep down, for some people deep deep deep down, know and enjoy at least one song preformed by Fallout Boy but don't want to admit it. I've only discovered Fallout Boy in the past 6 months but have been listening to the bands songs for a long time. Centuries is about leaving your mark on this world, in some way or form. A line from the song really proves this "And just one mistake is all it will take. We'll go down in history."

American Dream by MKTO is one of those songs you can't but sing with your friends no matter how bad you sound. This song is about leaving a small home town going to a big city that you can try and "Do something with your life" This lyric "This ain't the same summer song that you used to know" Yet at some points in the song is sure does. It has the bass and strong summer beat, we all look for in a summer song right?

P.S. The Jimmy Fallon song Ew! Featuring will.i.am is on point. It is one of the funniest videos of this year. I strongly suggest you check it out ASAP! I hope ew have a great day! EW! ヽ(^o^)丿
